Slick, tangy, delicious.
This vintage of Michael Bartier's consistently outstanding pink is made from 38% Merlot, 33% Chardonnay and 29% Gewurztraminer hand harvested from the estate Cerquiera Vineyard on the Black Sage Terrace in Oliver, BC and their estate vineyard in Summerland. The cuvee spent 4 months in stainless steel sitting on the lees.
Coppery-pink it's a ray of sunshine in the glass and delivers crab apples and peach stone, tangerine and delicate undertones of summer berries and exotic spice. Seamless and slick--almost creamy on the tongue, it rolls out flavours of red berries, apple skin and tealeaf which culminate in a tangy/cedar-y finish.
Just the perfect kind of dry and utterly delicious.
